worth keeping

Capo 3

Em C
say you're tired, say you're busy
Em A
you can lie to me, should come easy
C A
for you have been doing it, for a while

Em C
look away when I'm talking
Em A
please don't say, what you're thinking
C A
you have been thinking for a while
C A Esus
you have been thinking for a while

Em C
take your hands out of your pockets and hold me
Em C
turn your eyes 'round in your sockets so you can see
D C
the way that I look at you

and I am just a ray of sun, you are daylight
I'm an early morning, you're a goodnight
and a prayer before I go to sleep

when you could be straight ahead, you go sideways
when you're lying in your bed you're a longways
from the place that you wanted to be

take a look around you, what are you finding?
we can all just run away and go hiding
if that's how you want it to be

grab a hold of anything that's worth keeping
from your house of flames that you should be leaving
or stay and let it burn you down
let it burn you down

oh and--

After I sent my parents photos of my pumpkins! of win, I sent them a one of me carving. I mean it's a cute picture, it shows off my new hair cut, and i don't look like a zombie in it, which is a plus. Maybe this is why Mom decided to forward it out...or maybe it's because I apparently ran away from home and am either unrecognizable or have been forgotten by everyone I ever knew:

Either/Or.
